- 160 g green beans
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oil like coconut oil
- 2 tbsp water optional
Wash and cut the ends off the green beans.
Wash, peel and mince ginger.
Place a large pot on low heat. Leave for 1 - 2 minutes to heat up.
Add oil.
Toss in the prepped string beans, minced ginger and salt.
Cover the pot.
Cook for two minutes.
Remove the cover and stir. If the beans begin to stick, add a little water.
Cover again and cook for 3 more minutes (for a total of 5 minutes) or until the beans are bright green and slightly tender.
