Ingredients

  • 160 g green beans
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oil like coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp water optional

Instructions

  • Wash and cut the ends off the green beans.
  • Wash, peel and mince ginger.
  • Place a large pot on low heat. Leave for 1 - 2 minutes to heat up.
  • Add oil.
  • Toss in the prepped string beans, minced ginger and salt.
  • Cover the pot.
  • Cook for two minutes.
  • Remove the cover and stir. If the beans begin to stick, add a little water.
  • Cover again and cook for 3 more minutes (for a total of 5 minutes) or until the beans are bright green and slightly tender.
