Calming, soothing, and with proven benefits, this lavender chamomile tea is so easy to make with the flower buds and has a delightful, slightly sweet, floral taste. It takes roughly 15 minutes to make from heating the water to steeping the tea. It's so soothing.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp dried chamomile flowers
  • ½ tsp dried lavender flowers
  • 2 c water
  • sweetener (optional)

Equipment

  • kettle
  • teapot with tea infuser (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil water (either using a kettle, small pot, or in the microwave).
  • Add the flowers to a heat safe container (like a teapot with infuser or cup).
  • Pour boiling water over the flowers.
  • Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  • Strain and sweeten if desired.
  • Serve hot or cold.
