Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp fresh basil leaves (about 8 large leaves)
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves (about 20 leaves)
  • 3 cups water
  • sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Wash the leaves.
  • Tear the leaves. Add to a tea infuser.
  • Pour boiling water over the torn leaves.
  • Allow to steep for 15 minutes.
  • Strain and sweeten.
  • Serve warm.
