Fried shark recipe
This fried shark recipe is tasty and simple to make, once you have properly prepared the shark meat. Fresh green seasoning and a simple flour batter is all you really need for a great fried shark dish.

- 2 lbs shark (washed, drained, cut and deskinned)
- 1 tbsp Caribbean green seasoning (with garlic, ginger, pepper, chadon beni and broad leaf thyme leaves)
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ turmeric
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 tsp lime juice
- oil for frying
Wash shark pieces.
Rub 2 tablespoons of flour onto the meat.
Rinse the shark pieces.
Add salt, turmeric, and Caribbean green seasoning to the shark.
Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Remove cover.
Mix the lime juice into the marinade.
Place a saucepan on medium heat.
Add oil to the pot to deep fry the shark pieces. Allow to heat up.
Roll the shark pieces in the flour.
Shake off the excess flour.
When the oil is hot, add the shark.
Fry the shark pieces for three minutes (increase the time for thicker slices of shark meat).
Flip the pieces.
Fry for another three minutes.
Remove from oil.
Serve hot.
