Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ginger (12 grams)
  • 2 teabags green tea
  • 2 tsp honey (or sweetener of choice)
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and finely chop the ginger.
  • Place a saucepan on the stove on medium heat.
  • Add the water and chopped ginger to the saucepan.
  • Leave to brew for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • Add the tea bags.
  • Leave to steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the teabags.
  • Strain the tea.
  • Add honey or desired sweetener.
  • Serve warm.
