- 1 tbsp ginger (12 grams)
- 1 tbsp lemon (1/2 lemon or 12mL)
- 2 tsp honey
- 3 cups water
Wash, peel and finely chop the fresh ginger root.
Wash, slice and squeeze the lemon. Strain the juice.
Place a small saucepan on low to medium heat.
Add the water and ginger.
Leave to boil for 10 to 15 minutes (it should be at a rolling boil).
Remove from the heat. Leave to steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
Stir in the lemon juice and honey.
Serve warm.
