Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (about ½ lemon)
  • 2 tsp ginger (finely grated)
  • 1 tsp turmeric (finely grated)
  • 2 tsp honey (or sweetener of choice)
  • pinch of black pepper

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Zester

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and cut a small piece of pineapple into small cubes.
  • Wash and cut a lemon into half. Squeeze one half for juice.
  • Wash, peel and finely grate the ginger and turmeric.
  • Add the prepped pineapple, lemon juice, grated ginger, turmeric and honey to a blender or smoothie cup.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into shot glasses.
  • Sprinkle the black pepper on top.
  • Serve immediately or chill in the fridge.
