Peanut Butter Oat Balls: 3-Ingredient No Bake Oat Snacks
If you are looking for a super simple, yet pretty tasty pb and oat snack, these peanut butter oat balls are sure to be your new favorite energy balls. No baking necessary!
This 3-ingredient recipe takes about 15 minutes max to make and you’ll have simple peanut butter snacks for whenever you are feeling for a sweet treat. It’s also great for kiddies as an afternoon energy ball or can be packed in their lunch boxes.
Oh, each ball also contains about 4 grams of protein and good levels of magnesium. That’s pretty good! And, certainly a great way to use oats and peanut butter.

How to make these no bake peanut butter oat balls
Prep
Here’s a look at everything I used for this recipe.

The only prep I did was to warm the peanut butter in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften it (you may need to add more time if the peanut butter is cold).
Warmed peanut butter certainly makes it easier to mix with the other ingredients so I definitely recommend it.
That’s it for prep.
Combine and shape
I poured the runny peanut butter into a mixing bowl with the rolled oats and honey.

Then, I used a small silicone spatula to combine everything. You can use your hands if you like. Here’s how it looked once thoroughly incorporated.

I measured out 1 tablespoon of the mixture and rolled it between my palms to form a smooth ball. Repeat this until you have 11 oat balls. I had a few bits left over but not enough to make a twelfth ball.
Here’s a look at how they turned out. They tasted so good! The peanut butter flavor truly comes through. They can be enjoyed immediately or stored in the fridge for 3 days. They also freeze well.

Although this is a 3-ingredient oat ball recipe, you can add a bunch of your favorite ingredients to make them unique. Mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, hazelnut spread, shredded coconut and sesame seeds all come to mind.
Stick to the recipe as it is for a great oat snack. Or add the optional extras to make them more fancy and unique. There are so many ways to customize this to your preferences.
