Creamy Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe
If you are a peanut butter and banana fan, you will absolutely love this creamy banana peanut butter smoothie recipe! It’s so, so, so good!
It isn’t overly thick but it’s still an incredible cooldown drink in summer when the weather is super hot outside. Enjoy it as an afternoon thirst quencher or even as a replacement meal for breakfast with some extra protein on the side.
If you love thick, creamy drinks like these, try my peanut punch, soursop juice and barbadine punch too.

Equipment
A blender is needed for making this smoothie. That’s pretty much it.
How to make this banana peanut butter smoothie
There really isn’t much to do prep wise for this recipe. I sliced the bananas and popped them in the freezer for a couple hours. That’s about it for prep work.

Once the slices were nicely frozen, I added all the ingredients to my blender so in went the frozen banana slices, peanut butter, pitted dates, cinnamon powder, milk and ice. Then, everything was blended until smooth.
Serve immediately for a delightfully cold drink. Or chill in the fridge and serve later. It can stay for about 2 days in the fridge.

When recipe testing, I started with the two bananas and added a little peanut butter, milk and dates at a time and worked up slowly, taste testing along the way. The resulting recipe gave a nice balance of peanut butter and banana where neither outshone the other. I really enjoyed it and I hope you do too!
In total, this made 400 milliliters of the drink. I split it into two 200mL drinks here but you can scale up or scale down the recipe as you see fit.
