How to make chia pudding with banana
Prep
Here’s a look at the ingredients I used for this recipe. These medium bananas are a bit on the smaller side. If you have larger bananas, then use only one for this recipe.

The first thing to do is to wash and peel the bananas. I added them to a small mixing bowl and mashed with a fork. It was slightly chunky but you can mash until it is smoother.

Next, I added the milk, vanilla and cinnamon to the bowl.

Here’s where I used a whisk to bring everything together. It really does help incorporate the cinnamon powder which often clumps together and doesn’t mix well.
At this point, I highly recommend tasting the mix. If the bananas are ripe and super sweet, you won’t need to add any sweetener. But, if they are a bit on the tart side, you can add a little honey at this point.

Once the mix is to your liking, pour in the chia seeds and whisk together. That’s pretty much it for making the banana chia pudding.

All that’s left to do is add 1 cup of the mixture each to 2 serving glasses (okay it’s slightly less than 1 cup). Pop the glasses in the fridge for about 2 hours (or leave overnight).
After the chill time, remove from the fridge and add your favorite toppings. Here, I used some slices of banana and chopped walnuts, even a little honey. But, you can go all out with slices of berries, a spoonful of peanut butter or yogurt for extra protein. The choices and variations are endless here.
Serve cold. You can also prep the pudding and store in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. It’s a perfect overnight chia seed pudding!
