Mild Lemon Ginger Shot Recipe
Looking for a great tasting lemon ginger shot recipe? I have the perfect one for you! It’s mild, soothing and only requires four ingredients.
The shot is great any time of the day but I usually enjoy it before breakfast. It awakens my digestive system and sets me up for the best day.

Ingredients for lemon ginger shot
Equipment for this recipe
This recipe makes just 4 shots, so a mini blender is best suited for here. You can also scale up the recipe and use a regular blender or juicer.
And, if you finely grate or mince the ginger, you may not even need a blender at all.
How to make this lemon ginger shot
Prep everything
To prep, I usually wash, cut and squeeze the lemon, removing any seeds from the juice. And, I peel the ginger and roughly chop it until I have enough to fill my teaspoon.
You don’t have to peel the ginger or even chop it since the blender will take care of that, but it’s a personal preference for me to peel and chop the rhizome.

Blend
Add the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.

That’s it! Serve immediately as shots or store in the fridge for later. It can stay for about 3 days or so in the fridge. You can also freeze any excess in an ice tray if you scale up the recipe and use a block a day.
