Ingredients for lemon ginger shots
Equipment for this recipe
This recipe makes just 4 shots, so a mini blender is best suited here. You can also scale up the recipe and use a regular blender or juicer.
And, if you finely grate the ginger with a zester or mince it, you may not even need a blender at all.
How to make lemon ginger shots
Prep everything
To prep, I usually wash, cut and squeeze the lemon, removing any seeds from the juice. And, I peel the ginger and roughly chop it until I have enough to fill my teaspoon.
You don’t have to peel the ginger or even chop it since the blender will take care of that, but it’s a personal preference for me to peel and chop the rhizome.

Blend
Add the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Here’s a look at the blended mix before adding to the shot glasses.

That’s it! Serve immediately as shots or store in the fridge for later. It can stay for about 3 days or so in the fridge. You can also freeze any excess in an ice tray if you scale up the recipe and use a block a day.
