Sweet and Spicy Orange Ginger Shots (Wellness Shots)
These orange ginger shots are super simple to make and has about 35% of your daily Vitamin C levels. That makes them perfect immunity shots especially for summer (and winter too!).
But the ginger is pretty strong. So, if you aren’t a big fan of the spiciness, try either reducing the amount of ginger or adding some honey to balance the shot out. If you are a fan, however, this might just be your favorite 2-ingredient ginger shot recipe.
And if you love ginger shots, I have a bunch of homemade ones on the blog including these ginger turmeric, ginger lemon, and pineapple and ginger shots.

Ingredients
Equipment
This recipe only makes 3 tall shots so I prefer using a mini blender or smoothie blender here. You can scale up the recipe if you prefer and a regular sized blender would be more suitable.
How to make these orange ginger shots
Prep everything
Wash the oranges, cut them in half and squeeze to obtain that beautiful, sweet juice. Wash and peel the ginger. I usually grate the ginger with a zester but I didn’t here and sliced it instead. Simple and easy!

Blend
Add the orange juice and ginger to a smoothie cup and blend everything until smooth. Once done, taste test and see if you are fine with the spicy ginger levels. If not, add the honey and pulse a couple times to mix it in.
If you are happy with the drink, pour into shot glasses and serve immediately or chill in the fridge and serve when cold. These immunity shots can stay about 2 days in the fridge.
