Orange Ginger Shots Recipe You’ll Want to Make
If you are looking for a great tasting wellness shot recipe, these orange ginger shots are a must! They’re packed with so many vitamins too, making them great little immunity boosting drinks.
The orange juice here can actually give you about 35% of your required daily Vitamin C levels. So, they’re perfect to make during the colder months plus cold and flu season.
Ginger can be a bit spicy and, if you aren’t a fan, you can balance the spiciness with a little honey. But, if you can handle the spice, this can most definitely be a 2-ingredient ginger shot recipe.

Ingredients for orange ginger shots
Equipment
This recipe only makes 3 tall shots so I prefer using the smoothie attachment of my Ninja kitchen system but you can use a mini blender here. You can scale up the recipe if you prefer and a regular sized blender would be more suitable.
How to make these orange ginger shots
Prep everything
Wash the oranges, cut them in half and squeeze to obtain that beautiful, sweet juice. Wash and peel the ginger. I usually grate the ginger with a zester but I didn’t here and sliced it instead. Simple and easy!

Blend
Add the orange juice and ginger to a smoothie cup and blend everything until smooth. Once done, taste test and see if you are fine with the spicy ginger levels. If not, add the honey and pulse a couple times to mix it in.
If you are happy with the drink, pour into shot glasses and serve immediately or chill in the fridge and serve when cold. These immunity shots can stay about 2 days in the fridge.
